LotLift is a small, independent tool. This page explains, plainly, what data it touches and why — for both this website and the LotLift desktop app.
Signing in with Google gives LotLift your Google account ID and email address, used only to identify your subscription. LotLift never sees or stores your Google password.
The LotLift desktop app posts listings through your own Facebook account, using a browser session logged into Facebook the normal way. LotLift never sees, asks for, or stores your Facebook password. The app keeps its own local browser session on your PC so you don't have to log in every time.
The vehicle details LotLift reads from your dealership's inventory page (year, price, mileage, photos, description) are stored locally on your own PC, in the app's own local database, so LotLift can track what's been posted. This data is not uploaded to a LotLift-run server.
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. LotLift does not receive or store your card number — Stripe handles payment details directly. We store your subscription status (active, cancelled) and Stripe customer ID to determine whether your account is entitled to use the app.
When enabled, LotLift uses Sentry, a third-party crash-reporting service, to help us find and fix bugs. If the app crashes or hits an unexpected error, a report containing technical details — a stack trace, and sometimes file paths or other diagnostic context from your machine — is sent to Sentry. This is diagnostic-only: it does not include your Facebook password, Google password, or Stripe payment details. Crash reporting can be disabled by not configuring it; where it is enabled, this policy is your notice that it's active.
We don't sell your data. We don't use your inventory or account data for advertising. We don't share your information with anyone beyond the service providers named above (Google, Facebook, Stripe, and, when enabled, Sentry) that are necessary to run the product.
Subscription and billing records are kept for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for billing records. Your local inventory data lives on your own PC and is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data folder yourself. To request deletion of your subscription record, email us.
We may update this policy as the product changes, including if new third-party services are added. Significant changes will be reflected here with an updated date above.
